ZAZEN GALLERY, since 1997, is in Historic Paoli, Wisconsin and the showroom of Richard Judd – designer and maker of contemporary furniture. It is also his woodworking studio and exhibit space for other contemporary all media artists. Zazen Gallery is located about 9 miles west of centrally located Madison.

Richard Judd, born 1953 in Marshfield, WI and attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison and Milwaukee receiving his B.S. in Architecture in 1975. His work in architecture eventually  led to his formation of business as designer and craftsman since 1984. Exhibits have been held around the nation and numerous collections are scattered throughout the Midwest and beyond. Richard Judd has received awards including the Gold Award, Susie Gray Founder’s Award: 2014, Smithsonian Craft Show, Washington D.C. and numerous “Best of Show” awards in furniture.
